Joy Peters

Joy Peters - co-creator and writer for FamilyFunTwinCities.com.

Besides Family Fun Twin Cities, I spend my 9 to 5 at a day job pursuing my weird passion for calendars and organizing things as a legal secretary. When I get home I spend my time with my four kids, 10, 6, 4 and 1. My amazing husband is both a full-time musician and full-time stay-at-home dad. Together we run a small radio empire — SiaNet Radio — playing, promoting and enjoying the wide variety of local music and art in the Twin Cities. I juggle all this while writing about exploring the Twin Cities with kids. I couldn’t be happier.

  • I found it fairly quickly through Andy's link and the picture of the comment button. And now I have pressed Post It 4 times and it doesn't seem to be going anywhere.

  • Once upon a time there was a kangaroo with a messy pocket. It was so messy, she was unable to find her little joey. She reached in and pulled out:
    her wallet,
    a bottle of water,
leggings she bought at Target which she forgot to check for a tailhole, and, yup, they had no tailhole, so she had to return it because she couldn't sew. Only she wasn't able to find the receipt,
a Burger King fry box with some leftover fries
a coloring book picture her joey gave her (oh ~where~ was Joey!)
    2 Halls lozenges
kleenex – used? unused? Hard to tell
1 winter mitten (it was August!)
a coupon for a free DQ cone (expired! Damn!)
    a used swiffer cloth,
a scrap of paper with an unknown phone number on it
Oh THAT'S where her cellphone disappeared to!
A receipt from Target for underwear, high heels and leggings
a photo of some kid who looked slightly familiar

Hey, don't eat those grapes. Who knows how long they've been in there!

I think Mrs. Marsupial could use some time to herself.
