Kidstock @ Arbor Lakes

Saturday, June 15 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes, 12459 Elm Creek Blvd, Maple Grove, MN  55369.

Sometimes you just need a quick-fix family outing.  This is why I like the idea of Kidstock.  It’s an event put on by the Maple Grove Arts Council, but its held at the Shoppes at Arbor Lakes.  To me, this means there will be plenty of free parking — so I don’t have to feel the need to put in a full day to get my money’s worth;places to sit when I’m tired and someplace to grab a quick snack if we get crabby and hungry.  Mostly, it means, we can pop in and out for as the whole day or 15 minutes — whatever works for our family on that day.  This year’s entertainment will include:

10:00 a.m.:  Teddy Bear Parade led by Panda from The Teddy Bear Band!  Meet in Arbor Park by the fountain.  Bring your teddy bear (or favorite stuffed friend), stroller, wagon,  etc. and join the fun!!

10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: Performance by The Teddy Bear Band featuring Panda

11:15 a.m. – Noon: Dance Party with Kidsdance

12:15-1:00 p.m.:  Magic Show

1:15 p.m.- 2:00 p.m.: The Okee Dokee Brothers

2:15 p.m.- 3:00 p.m.: The Bazillions

There will also be free crafts and activities hosted by:

  •   Rainbow Party Arts – Face Painting
  •   Captain Jack
  •   Fair Hair–All About Fun 4 Kids
  •   Schmitt Music-activity
  •   Creative Kids Academy-art activity
  •   Keys 4/4 Kids–piano to paint
  •   KidzArt-art activity
  •   Abrakadoodle-art activity
