This is my last Preschool Activities post until this coming fall.  Like I stated last week,  if you don’t know what to do on a given week  contact me and I will let you know what you can do.  Also, we are constantly working on our  free calendar and our family fun calendar.  Whenever you are looking for something to do, hop on over there.  There is so much stuff!

Summer is here (even though it doesn’t always feel like it).  Weekly activities are pausing long enough to make room for week long camps.  Summer sports are on the schedule if not already started and the calendars are packed full of outdoor festivals!

But I’m getting ahead of myself.  This week’s preschool activities include some oldies but goodies and an annual tradition.

Toddler Tuesday: Camp Ice Age
Mall of America, Rotunda
Tuesday, May 28, 2013 10:00 am-12:00 pm
Meet Sid, make a craft, and experience Camp Ice Age, the mall’s featured attraction–only here for a limited time.  Camp Ice Age includes Captain Gutt’s ice- ship, the ICE AGE carnival, and a walk with the Ice Age movies.  The tickets for this attraction are $5 for children and $12 for adults, but for Toddler Tuesday, the fee has been waived.

Arty Pants:  Home Sweet Home
Walker Art Center
Tuesday, May 28, 2013  11:00 am-1:00 pm
Free with purchase of adult ticket ($12)
What can you make with a feather duster and a couple of spatulas and a whisk?  I don’t know yet, but Arty Pants in May and June is all about seeing the ordinary differently.  And creating things you never thought you could have imagined.  Arty Pants happens throughout the summer on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month.

Flint Hills International Children’s Festival
Rice Park and Landmark Center Plaza
Tuesday, May 28-Friday, May 31, 2013 10:30 am-1:00 pm
Free performances and activities in the park.  Rice Park and Landmark Center are going to be swarming with school-aged kids because the festival is  a popular event for many different schools.  However, with that said, if you have one or two little ones, you may want to check it out.  Minnesota Children’s Museum will have activities.  There will be magic shows.  Stages Theatre will have a craft.  You will get to watch Steppingstone Theatre’s  Heartbeat of a Drum.  The St. Paul Fire Department will be there.  And there’s much more.
