Concert on October 25, 2015 at Beth El Synangogue

I am so excited to see the Okee Dokee Brothers live next Sunday, October 25th. My husband and daughter were lucky enough to see them at a birthday party several years ago, and we’ve seen them at large outdoor events, but this will be my first time seeing them in an indoor setting.

Are you on the fence about going to see the Okee Dokee Brothers next weekend? Not sure if your kids would enjoy it? $15 to $25 a ticket can be a lot to gamble on (even when you know the money is going to a good cause like Beth El Synagogue’s Preschool tuition assistance).  Luckily, if you have Netflix, you don’t have to gamble.

You can watch both Can You Canoe and Through the Woods on Netflix right now!! Over and over if your kids are like mine.

We have been fans of Take it Outside, but we never really got into the newer albums. That is until we watched the videos. My kids LOVE these adventures and regularly ask to watch them again. We sing along with the shows. We sing the songs on our own. Last weekend, they pretended the seesaw at Loring Park was a canoe and sang Can You Canoe as they paddled it down the river.

If you don’t have Netflix, check out our Amazon Store. We’ve added both records to our store. You can also do OkeeDokee Karaoke on YouTube. We’ve had a lot of fun with that.

However you like to prepare for concerts, I hope to see you at this show. Stop by and say, Hi. We’ll have activities before the concert.

Besides Family Fun Twin Cities, I spend my 9 to 5 at a day job pursuing my weird passion for calendars and organizing things as a legal secretary. When I get home I spend my time with my four kids, 10, 6, 4 and 1. My amazing husband is both a full-time musician and full-time stay-at-home dad. Together we run a small radio empire — SiaNet Radio — playing, promoting and enjoying the wide variety of local music and art in the Twin Cities. I juggle all this while writing about exploring the Twin Cities with kids. I couldn’t be happier.
