Sunday is family day the Minneapolis Institute of Arts, and this month, the MIA is celebrating the its recently redesigned African art galleries. You and your family can celebrate the arts of Africa with activities, including:
A Drumming Workshop
- A Dance Performance by Voice of Culture
- Stories from African Folktales by master storyteller Jerry Blue.
- Art Projects like Mask Making and Moroccan-style Jewelry Making
Of course the galleries can be explored through Tours, a Gallery Hunt and the Art Cart. You can find a schedule and description of all events HERE.
