Fall just begs for cool crafts. And luckily for us, Heartfelt has some great ones for September. You still have a couple of weeks to join Lisa and her team of Craftkateers (that wasn’t dorky or anything!) to enjoy doing something creative and unique as well as being well-made.
Heartfelt Preschool Classes have started. Classes are held weekly on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:30 -11:30 am. It’s $15 for the first child and $10 for each additional child. Just call ahead to reserve a spot (612-877-8090).
Make strings of apple rings for drying (see the secret star inside), a rustic apple print on burlap. Complete the festival with apple snacks. Wednesday September 11th OR Friday September 13th, 10:30 – 11:30 am.
MAGIC WOOL: METEOR BALL
Make colorful felted balls and add a colorful yarn tail that will trail behind when tossed. Don’t forget a story! Wednesday September 18th OR Friday September 20th, 10:30 – 11:30 am.
Play with corn kernels, turn the grinder,making corn necklaces and husk dollies. Cornbread is the perfect snack! Wednesday September 25th OR Friday September 27th, 10:30 – 11:30 am.

Paint a trio of wooden mushrooms and make two cute
gnomes to match. Ages 7 to adult; younger with grown
up help. $15.
FELTED AMULET BAG
Learn wet felting with a resist while
making a small wool bag. Once the
felting is complete, add a yarn strap and pick a special stone
to tuck inside. Ages 6 to adult or younger with grown up help.
FALL FAIRY AND
Make this pair of 4 inch woodland dolls in autumnal
colors–fun to make and great play value too! Ages
6 and up or younger with grown up help. $20.
Sew, tie and stuff this simple
yet cute sock hound. Add ears,
eyes and an elk horn button nose,
plus optional felt collar. Ages 5 and
up, younger with grown up help.
Wrap thick wooly yarn into a chubby pompom, then trim
with little scissors to make a cute guinea pig or mouse,
adding ears and eyes. Then decorate a small box to
make a home for your pet—fun! Allow 1 ½ to 2 hours for
this project. Ages 7 to adult. $24.
Working with clay is absorbing and soothing—and a bit messy!
Learn to make a pinch pot, beads and more from our air drying
clay—tiny fairy dishes are an especially fun
project. We will send you home with your pieces to
dry; enjoy them plain or return to the shop at your
convenience to paint
with acrylic paints.
Ages 3 to adult. $10.
Why buy a greeting card when you can make your
own? Make use of our card stock, pretty papers and
high quality colored pencils, crayons and pastels
to create a highly personal card for your loved
one. All ages. $2 or 3 for $5.

After a busy day at school, felting is a
calming and creative activity for kids.
Join Lisa on Wednesdays as we
tackle various wooly projects. Please
call ahead to let us know your child is
coming. Ages 7 to teen.

by 5:00 pm. $15 per session.
Felt Dog Day
A whole day of dog making: at
the top of every hour, she will show
and wrapping. She will guide you through completion of your puppy. Bring two photos of the dog breed you wish to make:
whole body shot from the side, a
front facing head shot.
Ages 9 to
Adult. Pick a start time that works
best for you: 10 am, 11 am, 12 Noon,
1 pm or 2 pm. Allow 2 1/2 to 3 hours.
