Just throwing this out there in case your family isn’t close this year or you simply don’t feel like cooking:
Black Bear Crossings Café, located within the Como Park Lakeside Pavilion, is hosting its seventh annual Thanksgiving Community Dinner on Thursday, November 28, from noon – 2pm. It’s completely free and open to the public, a wonderful tradition of theirs to give back to the community that I hadn’t heard about until this year.
In keeping with Black Bear’s roots, some Native American dishes will be served along with the traditional turkey and pie.
Thanksgiving or not, keep Black Bear Crossings Café in mind the next time you’re planning on spending a day in Como Park. It has a beautiful location right on the lake and serves up a decent menu cafeteria-style with casual seating.
Happy Thanksgiving and thanks for reading!
