The Co-op Farm Tour took 2023 off to to reevaluate timing and frequency of the tour. A new go-forward plant will be released in 2024.
The Co-op Farm Tour is free family fun that can be done at your own pace. Visit one, visit all or just pick a few in one area. There is no need to RSVP or sign up. The farms will be offering tours, tastings and activities. The public is invited to come see where our food is actually grown.
This tour is a free and self-guided exploration of over 30 local farms. When we originally wrote this article in 2016, we were warned that GPS is spotty in rural areas and doubt that has changed. This could be a good time to work on map skills. Plan a route together before you leave, print a map and let the kids navigate. See the Google Map at the bottom of this page.

2021 Co-Op Farm Tour Information
The tour is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday July 10, 2021. These are working farms and sometimes peoples’ homes, so we are asked to be respectful and only visit during tour times. However, if you can’t make it this weekend, check their individual websites. Some of these farms do have public hours.

Heading further out of the cities, families can design their own tours. The Co-op Farm Tour website offers a map of all the farms. .
