North Dale Recreation Center offers family friendly activities and amenities including an outdoor playground, sports courts, outdoor rinks and a warming room, gym, and picnic area.  The rec center often offers Tot Times for Open Play during the school year.

There is also a fitness center with an indoor track at this location. Adults who live or work in St. Paul can purchase memberships for $30/year.

Various rooms in the community center can be rented for private use at affordable rates. They include:

Free Summer Meals at Saint Paul Parks

Blast Program at North Dale Recreation Center

Blast Programs are offered when school is out of sessions — summer break, winter break & spring break. This free program has been offered at North Dale Recreation Center and consists of activities such as crafts, art, tennis, cooking, swimming, gym games, water fun, outdoor nature activities, outdoor play, fitness, kitchen science and more. Space fills up fast at this location.

Outdoor Skating Rinks & Warming Room at North Dale Recreation Center

Rinks in St. Paul Parks are free and open from approximately mid-December through Mid-February, dependent on Weather and ice quality. However, North Dale is one of four St. Paul Parks with large, refrigerated outdoor skating rinks, allowing it to open earlier in the season and stay open later into the spring.
