Maplewood Mall is open seven days a week and has a large play area for children next to a full-size Merry Go Round that even adults can ride. This mall has an Amusing Rides kiosk. 2024 Note: According to CBS News Minnesota, the mall had new owners as of mid-February 2023. Google says it is a Simon mall, but Simon doesn’t show Maplewood among its Minnesota malls. Hopefully, we will see a new website and family-friendly programming return under the new owners. In the meantime, the mall’s Facebook page has been maintained and the mall itself and its 50+ tenants continue to operate, but it does not currently maintain a website. Aimed at toddlers and preschoolers, Kid’s Castle Play Area is a little bigger than the average mall play area and is not free. Admission for kids is $12.95 for the first hour and $5.95 for additional hours. Open 7 days a week from 10 am to 7 pm and is located near Door 2 of the mall. The hours we show above are the mall’s standard hours. Hours may change for holidays and the mall may close for unexpected events. We recommend checking the website before visiting if you are in doubt.
