blooma-logoWe were super excited when Blooma invited Family Fun Twin Cities to try a yoga class, specifically a prenatal yoga class.  Don’t get any ideas.  Nobody on the FFTC team is pregnant, but yoga is fun. You don’t have to be pregnant to enjoy it.  So I found a time on my calendar and made my way over to the new Plymouth location they share with yogamn.

5/7: Mother’s Day Tea @ Scott County Historical Society, Shakopee • 1-3pm • $5/kids, $10/adults • Details: Kids ages 5 & up and their families can enjoy tea and treats, make a Victorian trinket box and snap a picture in the photo booth.

5/8: Mother’s Day Clay @ Silverwood Park, St. Anthony • 10am-noon • $25/adult-child pair, $15 per additional child. Reservations required by phone only.

5/8: Mother’s Day Flower Walk & Tea Party @ Lowry Nature Center, Victoria • 1-2:30pm • $5/pp • Details: Take a spring hike, craft a scented firestarter and enjoy tea or juice with Mom.

Ages: All ages welcome, exhibits appeal mainly to kids preschool-aged and up.
Details: This is your last chance to gain free admission to The Bakken before they discontinue their Free Second Saturdays promotion! The museum is a fun space dedicated to exhibits about electricity.

Ages: Train lovers of all ages!
